Attorney Christopher Stansbury of Nicholasville, KY; ethical elf

The state of Kentucky presented Christopher L. Stansbury with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky of Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
2. Failed to communicate with client
3. Failed to comply with client’s request for information
4. Failed to explain matter to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions regarding representation
5. Knowingly made false statements to disciplinary agency
6. Failed to expedite litigation
7. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 61-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (June 2014), Chris practices at 120 Deer Crossing in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
