Attorney Laurel Kupka of Overland Park, KS; lying slacker

The state of Kansas presented Laurel R. Kupka with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Laurel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Untruthful in statements to others [liar]
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Laurel by gifting her with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license. 

And lastly, as one would suspect, Laurel failed to disclose the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.sarahcarmodlaw.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Laurel practices with Sarah Comody Law at 8600 West 110^th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.
