Attorney Garth Carlson of Davenport, IA; slacker, loser

The state of Iowa presented Garth Matthew Carlson with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Washington School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Garth guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Garth!)
• Failed to file required appellate documents with Supreme Court on client’s behalf thereby causing appeal to be summarily dismissed
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to properly prosecute client’s appeal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Garth by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Garth fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.gomezmaylaw.com. Apparently, Davey decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Garth practices with Gomez May LLP at 2322 East Kimberly Road in Davenport, Iowa.
