The state of Iowa presented Donald H. Capotosto with a law license in 1973 after she graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

Donnie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Involved in delinquent handling of five probate matters in Palo Alto County
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Donnie!)
• Failed to file required inventory in probate matter
• Failed to file final report in probate case
• Failed to obtain court order closing an estate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Donnie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Refused to cooperate with Ethics Investigators (Up yours, said Donnie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Donnie’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Allowed six probate estates to become delinquent
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to comply with prior suspension conditions regarding dealing with probate matters
• Failed to withdraw from probate cases when withdrawal mandated
• Failed to keep clients informed about status of matter
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
