Attorney Philip Moss of Des Moines; druggie

The state of Iowa presented Philip Colt Moss with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

• Indicted on felony drug charges
• Police found marijuana, hash, painkillers and other drugs in his townhouse.
• West Des Moines detective began investigating Phil after receiving anonymous information that he was involved in the use and sale of illegal narcotics
• Phil’s kitchen, bedroom and jeep contained various painkillers and other medicines that he did not have a prescription to possess, including at least 26 OxyContin (hillbilly heroin) pills

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Phil by the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court.
