Attorney Kenneth Nelson of Waterloo, IA; ethical dwarf

The state of Iowa presented Kenneth P. Nelson with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Kenny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Filed notice of appearance in probate matter without consulting with the testator’s guardian ad litem
• Made appearance in estate matter w/o obtaining authorization to so act from the designated attorney on the matter
• Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Kenny practices with the Nelson Law Firm PLLC in Waterloo, Iowa.
