Attorney Bruce Stoltze Jr. of Des Moines; slacker, repeat offender

 

The state of Iowa presented Bruce Henry Stoltze Jr. with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

 

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bruce’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected client’s appeal
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Engage in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

 

Bruce’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected of a client’s appeal
  • Received numerous notices of default penalty assessments from the Iowa Supreme Court
  • Negligence led to dismissal of client’s Supreme Court appeal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Bruce practices with Stoltze & Stoltze PLC at 300 Walnut in Des Moines, Iowa.
