The state of Indiana presented Robert Wayne Gray with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to consult with a client about the objectives of representation.
  • Failed to obtain a client’s informed consent to limit the scope of representation
  • Failed to promptly inform a client of any decision or circumstance with respect to which the client’s informed consent is required
  • Failed to reasonably consult with a client about the means by which the client’s objectives are to be accomplished
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions
  • Represented client when there is a concurrent conflict of interest without obtaining informed, written consent
  • Improperly accepted compensation for representing a client from one other than the client.
  • Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the conduct of another lawyer over whom the lawyer has direct supervisory authority conforms to Rules of
  • Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Bobby practices in Highland, Indiana.
