Attorney Mark Christoff of Danville, IN; ethical gnome

The state of Indiana presented Mark Simeon Christoff with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Mark guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an assistant Franklin County prosecutor.

In one matter, Mark threatened to renew a long-dormant criminal investigation against a political candidate seeking office.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
