Attorney Stephen Eslinger of South Bend, IN; disgusting cheater

The state of Indiana provided Stephen L. Eslinger with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged a clearly unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Made agreement to charge client 50% contingent fee in addition to hourly fee
• Charged client $225 an hour for time worked by another attorney for $75 per hour
• Failed to obtain client consent to pay another attorney, who was not a member of Stevie’s law firm, for working on the case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. May 2018) Stevie practices with the Eslinger Law Office at 224 West Jefferson Blvd in South Bend, Indiana.
