Attorney Louis Brydges of Libertyville, IL; cheating loser

The state of Wisconsin presented Louis Worthington Brydges with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Emory University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Louie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected two separate mortgage foreclosure defense matters when he failed to timely file documents
  • Delayed in filing a loan modification request for one of the clients
  • Fees Louie collected from each client, who paid the same monthly amount regardless of the level of activity in their cases, were unreasonable (cheater)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 5-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Louie.

As one would suspect, Louie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his website at www.brydgeslaw.net. Apparently, Louie chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Louie practices his brand of law with Lou Brydges & Associates P.C.at 1585 North Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville, Illinois.
