Attorney Maggie Crisman-Wilson of Charleston, IL; ethical goblin

The state of Illinois presented Maggie Crisman-Wilson with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from the John D. Marshall School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Maggie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected eight (8) difference client matters
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Converted client funds to pay for security retainers and filing fees

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Maggie by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Maggie practices with the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office at 651 Jackson Street in Charleston, Illinois.
