Attorney Kevin Moran of Coeur D Alene, ID; ethical troll

The state of Washington presented Kevin Michael Moran with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Temporarily abandoned his practice without proper notice to his clients
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of their legal matters
• Knowingly disobeyed obligations under the rules of a tribunal
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Kevin!)
• Failed to notify client of hearing date
• Failed to notify his client of the issuance of a bench warrant
• Failed to file required appellate brief on client’s behalf
• Failed to return numerous client calls
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fees

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month suspension of his law license

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Kevin practices in Coeur D Alene, Idaho.
