Attorney Michael Davis Jr. of Atlanta; serial offender

The state of Georgia presented Michael Joseph Davis Jr. with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School. 

The State Bar of Georgia found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

Mike’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2002

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: scope of representation
• Willfully abandoned and/or disregarded client legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Mike’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2002

• Failed to respond to opposing party discovery as required
• Found in contempt by trial court
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to respond to client inquires
• Failed to provide requested progress reports to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Mike’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2002

• Failed to respond to client inquires
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Filed petition with court w/o required sworn verification

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
