Attorney Dock Davis of Franklin, GA; ethical dwarf

The state of Georgia presented Dock H. Davis with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Emory University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Dock guilty of the following misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Dock by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Dock practices in the Franklin, Georgia area.

In one matter, Dock represented an Alabama resident in a contract case filed on the client’s behalf in the State Court of Gwinnet County.

Because the client’s profession required extensive travel, Dock experienced some difficulty reaching the client to review and sign documents.

When Dock filed a lawsuit on the client’s behalf, he signed the client’s name to it and falsely notarized it by claiming the client signed it in his presence. Dock signed the client’s name on an affidavit that he later submitted to the trial court.
