Attorney Waymon Sims of Atlanta; ethical gremlin  

The state of Georgia presented Waymon Sims with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The Georgia State Bar found Waymon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to opposing party’s discovery requests
• Failed to file response to opposing party’s motion for summary judgment
• Failed to withdraw when withdrawal required
• Failure to respond to discovery led to court entering summary judgment against client
• As a consequence of grant of summary judgment, client’s property rights lost forever

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Waymon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
