Attorney James Potts Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; bullying loser
The state of Alabama presented James M. Potts Sr. with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from Florida State University School of Law.
The Florida State Bar Association found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.
-
Attempted to get banking records from treasurer, but when he did not cooperate, Jimmy sent the treasurer unprofessional and disparaging emails and text messages
-
Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
-
Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
-
Misconduct involved multiple offenses
-
Presented, participated in presenting, or threatened to present criminal charges solely to obtain an advantage in a civil matter
-
Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay or burden a third person
In addition, Jimmy sent the following email to the treasurer.
-
“If you are innocent like you say, why not come to the parking area at 2 so we can discuss this like real adults.”
-
“If I were being accused of being a cheating moron by a loudmouth attorney, you’d better believe I would meet
-
those accusations head on.”
-
“But then again, I’m not a coward and I have an understanding of the protections afforded to unit owners under Florida law.”
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license and imposed investigative costs of $4,694.28.
As we speak (ca. August 2020), Jimmy practices with the Potts Legacy Law Group PA at 1141 SE 2nd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
