The Florida Supreme Court presented Colleen Bratcher with a law license in 2000
The Florida State Bar found Colleen guilty of repeatedly writing at least one bad check (rubber)against her trust account. She was also found guilty of producing records to the State Bar that were not in compliance with Bar rules pertaining to attorney trust accounts.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologist for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar punished Colleen by gifting her with 18 months of probation.
Because Attorney Misfits in Florida are held to a much lower standard of conduct than everyone else, Colleen was never prosecuted for passing a bad check.
As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Colleen practices law at 2674 W. Lake Road in Palm Harbor, Florida.
