Attorney Brian Beauchamp of Stuart, FL; repeat offender

 

The state of Florida provided Brian Merl Beauchamp with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

 

The Florida State Bar found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Brian’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: objectives of representation
  • Failed act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client reasonably informed about status of matter
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Brian’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to pay federal income tax for three consecutive years
  • Took no action on client’s case
  • Refused to appear for client’s scheduled trial unless paid additional funds
  • Failed to timely report income paid to employee
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to keep client advised of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to allow client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Brian practices at 3725 SE Ocean Blvd in Stuart, Florida.
