The state of District of Columbia provided Donald L. Schlemmer with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Howard University Law School.

The D.C. Court of Appeals found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file appeal on client’s behalf in immigration matter
• Failed to advise client appeal had not been filed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the D.C. Court of Appeals punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
