Attorney Michael Rizzo of North Haven, CT; lying slacker

The state of Connecticut provided Michael E. Rizzo with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to act with candor toward a tribunal [lied]
• Communicated with person he knew was represented by counsel
• Failed to respect the rights of third persons

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Mikey by gifting him a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Mikey practices with the Law Office of Michael E. Rizzo at 97 Washington Avenue in North Avenue, Connecticut.
