Attorney Patrick Zailckas of Waterbury, CT; ethical elf

The state of Connecticut provided Patrick Zailckas with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer's honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer in other respects
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Falsely acknowledged a signature of a person not actually signing a document
• Signed his wife's name as a witness to a deed to convey the impression that his wife was actually a witness when she was not

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Patty practices his so-called brand of law with Zailckas & Zailckas at 51 Holmes Avenue in Waterbury, Connecticut.
