Attorney Frederick Lovejoy of Darien, CT; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Frederick A. Lovejoy with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the Valparaiso University School of Law.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Freddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to satisfy a judgment entered against his law firm of which he was the sole principal
• Engaged in dilatory and harassing conduct in litigation related to the judgment
• Engaged in venal, petty conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Freddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.  

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Freddy practices his so-called brand of law with Lovejoy & Associates in Darien, Connecticut.
