Attorney John Forrest of East Hartford, CT; slacker

The state of Connecticut provided John T. Forrest with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Client’s case dismissed due to discovery violations
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the Complainant to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to take proper steps to protect client’s interests upon termination

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Johnny practices with the Law Offices of John T. Forrest LLC at 45 Connecticut Avenue in East Hartford, Connecticut.
