Attorney Edward Kanowitz of Stamford, CT; lying loser

The state of Connecticut provided Edward Kanowitz with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Eddy represented a client in a real estate transaction. During the representation, Eddy found it acceptable to misrepresent (lied) to the lender bank that the price of construction was $1,580,000 when in fact he absolutely knew the actual price was $1,776,896.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Eddy practices at 112 Prospect Street in Stamford, Connecticut.
