Attorney William Barnthouse of Centennial, CO; repeater, criminal

The state of Colorado presented William Joseph Barnthouse with a law license in 1976.

Disciplinary Counsel found William guilty of the following misconduct.

While shopping at a May D & F store, security personnel observed William place several shirts inside his clothing. Shortly thereafter William was approached by store employees who had seen him place the shirts inside his clothing. After arguing with security employees, Bill was handcuffed. Two shirts were removed from his clothing. At this time, a local police chief appeared and escorted Bill to the security office.

An Arapahoe County Deputy Sheriff took William into custody and took him to the county jail and later charged with one count of theft and one count of disorderly conduct. Subsequently, William pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct.

Of course this wasn’t Williams 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. Bill previously received a complimentary 1-year suspension from the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court for his conduct in representing himself in a divorce proceeding wherein he personally attacked other lawyers and engaged in dilatory conduct for the sole purpose of delaying the proceedings.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished William by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak, (ca. September 2012), William practices at 2757 East Jamison Avenue in Centennial, Colorado, which is a suburb of Denver.
