Attorney Christopher Fry of Denver, CO; slacker, loser

The state of Colorado provided Christopher James Fry with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with his client
  • Charged his client excessive fees for work that remained uncompleted or that conferred little benefit (cheater)
  • After client termination, Chris failed to cooperate with substitute counsel to act in his client’s best interests
  • Knowingly filed frivolous pleadings with the court falsely asserting that his client had failed to pay legal fees
  • Failed to refund unearned fees to his client (victim)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a tribunal (Up yours, said Chris)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits in Colorado sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 18- month suspension of his law license effective October 26, 2021.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Chris will resume his so-called brand of law at 353 Main Street in Denver, Colorado in late 2024.
