The State of Colorado provided Molly F. Jansen with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from University of Denver School of Law.
Disciplinary Counsel found Molly guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

Entered into agreement for, charged, or collected unreasonable fee (cheater)

Failed to promptly deliver funds to client/third person they were entitled to receive

Failed to consult with client about means by which the client objectives are to be accomplished

Failed to properly execute fee agreements in two cases

Failed to keep appointments with an incarcerated client and never responded to his letters requesting information about his case

Sent substitute counsel (without providing notice to her client or securing her client’s consent for the substitution) to appear

on her behalf at multiple court appearances

Failed to inform a client in writing about the lawyer’s fees and expenses

Improperly charged nonrefundable fees or retainers

Commingled client funds with personal funds
As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Molly by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.
In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Molly.
