Attorney Gabriel Stefu of Thornton, CO; convicted spousal abuser

The state of Colorado presented Gabriel Stefu with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from St. John’s University School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Gabe guilty of the following misconduct.

• Arrested in connection with an incident involving domestic violence
• Pleaded guilty to a class-six felony of conspiracy to commit felony menacing
• Admitted he pushed his wife down onto a couch and placed his hand on his mother-in-law during an argument with her
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Gabe by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Gabe fails to mention the misconduct above on his self-serving website at www.westernlawgroup.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Gabe practices with the WesternLaw Group LLC at 9351 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado.
