Attorney Carol Zeisler of Colorado Springs; drunken slacker

The state of Colorado presented Carol J. Zeisler with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from the University of  Iowa School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Carol guilty of the following misconduct

• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to protect a client’s interests upon termination of the representation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to client upon receipt
• Arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
• Pled guilty to the DUI and given 15-month deferred sentence
• Failed to report criminal DUI convicted to disciplinary authorities (Up yours, said Carol!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appeals Court punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Carol.

As we speak, (ca. April 2019), Carol practices with Zeisler Associates PC at 3472 Research Parkway in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
