Attorney Gerald Feather of Grand Junction, CO; greedy loser

The state of Colorado provided Gerald B. Feather with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Colorado Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Gerry entered into a written contingent fee agreement "to collect back child support.” He thereafter

reduced the child support arrearages to judgments and used $4,000 from one judgment to purchase an oil and gas royalty for his client.

Gerry then claimed a perpetual one-third interest in the monthly payment from the oil and gas royalty. Put simply, Gerry found it acceptable to provide himself with a lifelong attorney fee from his client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Gerry practices with Feather Legal Services PC at 2754 Compass Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado.
