The California State Bar Court found Brad guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bradley’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to perform promised legal services on client’s behalf
  • Misappropriated (stole) client funds

  • Failed to perform promised legal services on client’s behalf
  • Failed to keep client informed of developments in case
  • Failed lawsuit one day after statute of limitations had expired
  • Failed to oppose motion for summary judgment
  • Inaction on client’s behalf led to case being dismissed
  • Failed to keep a client informed in assault and battery case

  • Failed to maintain client funds in trust account
  • Misappropriated (stole) $9,000 in client
  • Allowed balance in trust account to fall below required amount
  • Lied to client he was going to pay medical care provider
  • Never paid required $3,500 to medical care provider

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Manuel by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
