Attorney Marlon Alo of Seal Beach, CA; convicted harasser

The state of California provided Marlon Alo with a law license in 1989

The California State Bar Court found Marlon guilty of the following misconduct.

In on matter, Marlon was convicted for making harassing phone calls. In 2007, the woman attorney who was the subject of the harassing calls completed a consulting job for Marlon. In 2009, Marlon attempted to hire the woman for another job but she declined the offer. The following year, Marlon began to call her repeatedly telling her was in love with her, that he wanted to make her happy, asking for forgiveness, and asking if she was still mad at him.

In 2011, the woman sent Marlon a certified letter asking that he stop cont acting her, but he didn’t, and the woman then called the Laguna Beach Police Department.

Marlon continued to contact the women through July 2011, which led the Orange County DA’s Office to file criminal charges against him. At that time, the court issued a protective order barring Marlon from contacting the woman. The court also filed a restraining order against Marlon. However, Marlon violated both orders and continued to call the woman, and showed up at her house, where he was confronted by the woman’s boyfriend.

Subsequently, Marlon pleaded guilty to four (4) criminal counts of making harassing telephone calls.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfit s sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Marlon by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2014), Marlon practices at 13520 El Dorado Drive in Seal Beach, California, which is located in Orange County.
