Attorney Janis Turner of San Diego; repeat offender

 
The state of California provided Janis Louise Turner with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara (USC) Law School.
 
The California Bar Court found Janis guilty of misconduct on several occasions.
 
Janis’ 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Failed to provide competent legal services (Dumbo)
  2. Filed a dismissal of client’s lawsuit w/o client’s consent
  3. Failed to preserve client confidences
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Janis by gifting her with a stayed 12-month suspension of her law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t provide any real punishment to Janis.
 
Janis’ 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
Janis was disciplined for the second time because of her failure to comply with probation conditions imposed upon her in regards to her 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree as set forth above.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Janis by gifting her with yet another stayed 12-month suspension of her law license.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Janis practices with James L. Turner ALC at 2515 Camino del Rio Street in San Diego, California.
 
It should be noted that Janis was found guilty of misconduct prior to the 2 instances aforementioned. On both occasions she received complimentary terms of probation, meaning she got a pass.
