Attorney John Baratta of San Juan Capistrano, CA; convicted loser

The state of California provided James Pal Baratta with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted of burglary
• Convicted of vandalism with damage of $400 or more
• Convicted of use of computer services without permission
• After girlfriend broke off relationship, Jimmy went to her apartment, broke her TV, punctured holes in her car tires, and made changes to her airline flight reservations without her knowledge
• Entered girlfriend’s apartment a second time and wrote deceptive email message to her law associates, stating she was quitting, as well as to a former boyfriend, intimating she wanted to resume their relationship
• During second entry into girlfriend’s apartment, Johnny damaged her clothing and jewelry before smearing personal lubricant and pouring hot sauce throughout the apartment, lighting candles, and turning the heat on high before he left

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
