Attorney Benjamin Sternberg of Sherman Oaks, CA; cheating loser

The state of California provided Benjamin Sternberg with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Southwestern University School of Law.

FYI: Southwestern is ranked as the 167th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar Court found Benny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to release $52,000 from client’s portion of the Chesapeake Funds to client trust account in accordance with an agreed to stipulation
• Breached fiduciary duty that he owed to the Alliya King Trust
• Committed an act of moral turpitude
• Misappropriated [stole] funds which were supposed to be used to fund the Alliya King Trust

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Benny.
