  • Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
  • Filed a lawsuit that was found by the superior court to be legally unsound, and found to be objectively unreasonable by the appellate court in the resulting appeal in that case
  • Failed to counsel or maintain such actions, proceedings, or defenses only as appear to him legal or just
  • Failed to pay court-ordered sanctions in the amount of $6,789 within the prescribed time period
  • Disobeyed or violated an order of the court requiring him to do or forbear an act connected with or in the course of his profession, which he ought in good faith to have done
  • Failed to report in writing to the State Bar of California, $6,789 in monetary sanctions imposed upon him 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Alejandro by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license
