Attorney  Robert Rodriguez of San Ramon, CA; convicted of assaulting girlfriend

The state of California presented Robert D. Rodriguez with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the Lincoln School of Law in Sacramento. Lincoln is a Fourth Tier Law School dedicated to taking on losers that could not get accepted into mainstream law schools such as USC, UC Davis and/or Stanford.

The California State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Found guilty by a jury of “inflicting corporal injury” on Ms. Smith, the mother of his child
  • While living together with his girlfriend, they had a child together
  • After an argument with girlfriend, Bobby hit her with his open hand on the side of her fact, knocking her to the ground
  • When Contra Costa County Sheriff Sliger arrived at the home he noticed that Ms. Smit had redness on the side of her face, a swollen lip, and dried blood on the corner of her mouth
  • A police investigation determined that Ms. Smit’s injuries were consistent with her statement to police and that Bobby didn’t have injuries consistent with his statement
  • Subsequently, Bobby admitted he hit Ms. Smit and was then arrested
  • Demonstrated a lack of insight regarding his misconduct
  • Bobby continued to look elsewhere for blame, but had yet to recognize and take responsibility for his own actions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2018) Bobby practices with the Law Offices of Robert D. Rodriguez in San Ramon, California.
