Attorney Ken Swindle of Rogers, AR; ethical troll

The state of Arkansas provided Ken David Swindle with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Kenny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Ordered to pay $7,120.00 restitution for the benefit of the Rogers School District
  • Fined $6,000 and assessed costs of $3,400
  • Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Appeal Kenny filed and pursued was frivolous, and unnecessary, as the law of Arkansas was clearly against the position he was arguing before the court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, fined $6,000 and assessed costs of $3,400.

As we speak (ca. November 2019) Kenny practices at 619 West Persimmon Street in Rogers, Arkansas.
