Attorney Richard Mays Jr. of Little Rock; scamming fraudster

The state of Arkansas presented Richard Mays Jr. with a law license in 1963 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while employed by the Parole Board Commission
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Utilized a false interview document he prepared and lobbied fellow commissioners to sign the falsified document
  • Illegally removed a parole board file and destroyed an interview document
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $10,000 fine

As we speak (December 2018), Dick practices at 212 Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.
