Attorney Bretton Barber of Phoenix, AZ; bullying misogynist

The state of Arizona provided Bretton Hollis Barber with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Bretton guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unprofessional conduct that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden another
  • Engaged in conduct resulting in prejudice to the administration of justice
  • Misconduct caused actual harm to the legal system
  • While speaking to a female attorney, Bretton because abusive, upset and yelled at her
  • Bretton became louder the calmer the female attorney became
  • Bretton’s comments were personally rude, and obnoxious
  • Continued his threats and rude comments in subsequent emails
  • When he was informed service of process would be accepted at the female attorney’s office, Bretton threatened to go to their individual homes if they did not waive service, take photos of each of them and their family members,
  • then publicly publish their addresses and photos to force waiver

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Bretton by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,200.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Bretton and his firm fail to disclose the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.phoenix-criminal-defense.lawyer.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Bretton practices his brand of law with the Barber Law Group PLLC at 2 North Central Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.

CAUTION: Bretton does not carry legal malpractice insurance
