Attorney Donnis Cowart of Tuscaloosa; ethical misfit

The state of Alabama presented Johnny Mack Lane with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Donnis guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Failed to expedite litigation
• Failed to notify client of hearing date

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Donnis by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Donnis practices at 2132 McFarland Blvd in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
