Attorney Arthur Medley of Dothan, AL; slacker, loser

The State of Alabama presented Arthur Ross Medleywith a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Art guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to timely file a brief in representing a client before the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals
• Failed to timely file briefs at the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals on multiple occasions and had been disciplined for doing so within the two years preceding 2021.
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Art practices his so-called brand of law in Dothan, Alabama.
