The state of Alabama presented Steven Lamar Terry with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law.
The Alabama State Bar Association found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law

Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

Failed to provide competent representation

Failed to communicate with client

Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

Failed to timely notify his client of the final order issued in her matter and, as a result, the client lost approximately 18 days to prepare either

her appeal or motion to alter, amend or vacate

Failed to attend hearing on client’s behalf

Failed to file required motion to withdraw

Failed to file various pleadings by the deadlines established by the court forcing his client to file them on her own and as a result, the court revoked the client’s appointment as administratrix and joined the surety into the proceedings

Surety filed a petition of removal of estate from probate court due to Stevie’s failure to properly administer the estate and the surety received a judgment against the client for fees and expenses

In an employment discrimination matter, Stevie failed to file a response to the employer’s motion to dismiss and the client’s case was dismissed
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2020), Stevie practices at 1409 Government Street in Mobile, Alabama.
