Attorney Andrew Smithart III of Tuscaloosa, AL; ethical ogre

The state of Alabama provided Andrew Jackson Smithart III with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Andy!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Andy practices with Cockrell Cockrell Townsend & Ritchey, LLP at 1409 University Blvd in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
