Attorney Marshell Hatcher of Gardendale, AL; ethical goblin

The state of Alabama presented Marshell Jackson Hatcher with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association Marshell guilty of the following misconduct.

• Lied to probate judge that she had not signed a settlement agreement 2 years earlier
• Advised judge she would hire handwriting expert to prove she hadn’t signed the agreement
• The expert determined that Marshell had in fact signed the document
• After being exposed as a liar she told the judge she just forgot she signed the document (clearly Marshell missed her calling as a Standup Comedian)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Marshell by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Marshell practices in Gardendale, Alabama.
