Attorney Charles Parnell III of Montgomery, AL; ethical elf

The state of Alabama presented Charles Nichols Parnell III with law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Alabama Law School. 

The Alabama State Bar Association found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Acquired a monetary and/or ownership interest adverse to his client
• Failed to advise bankruptcy court of financial interest in case

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Charlie practices with Parnell & Crum PA in Montgomery, Alabama.
