Attorney Steven Eversole of Birmingham, AL; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented Steven Douglas Eversole with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Accepted retainer fee in criminal matter for work he claimed to be a flat fee
• Failed to deposit unearned portion of fee into trust account
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after being terminated
• Failed to promptly withdraw from representation
• Failed to promptly provide client with client file after being discharged
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Stevie practices with Eversole Law LLC at 205 20^th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama.
