Speaker John Boehner: Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Speaker John Boehner
Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

As Speaker of the House, Johnny has the ultimate authority to determine what legislation will be allowed to come to the floor for consideration. In reality, the Speaker is a dictator in this regard. When he ascended to the throne 19 months ago, Johnny pronounced that his number on priority was “job creation.”

As speaker, Johnny has allowed the house to vote 33 times on legislation aimed at repealing Obamacare even though he knew it would never pass the Senate. Johnny also allowed an untold amount of legislation to reach the floor that dealt with a woman’s right to an abortion and/or matters dealing with contraceptives.

I’m at a loss to understand how the issues of abortion and contraceptives are related to job creation. In fact if all abortions were made illegal along with contraceptives, it seems to me that such legislation would actually lead to a loss of jobs.

Recently, Johnny felt compelled to come to the defense of Mitt Romney’s refusal to release his tax returns. Johnny said the demands that Mitt release additional tax returns are a “side show” designed to distract from the real issues (like abortion and contraceptives Johnny?). “The American people are asking, where are the jobs? They’re not asking where the hell are the tax returns?”

You have to wonder who in the hell Johnny employs to write his comedic material. If he’s doing it on his own, then I suspect his brain is now half-baked due to the inordinate amount of time he spends in tanning booths in the Cincinnati and D.C. areas.

Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most unaccomplished Standup Comedians; you are far too humble.
