Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

In November 2010, Blake succeeded in duping the voters into electing him to Congress.

Blake is another lawyer running amuck in the Halls of Congress. Apparently, Mike had difficulty earning a dishonest living as a lawyer and decided it would more financially rewarding to go into politics.

During a recent interview (0/20/13) on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” Blake the Flake was involved in a heated discussion with host Chris Matthews as to whether Sen. Ted Cruz was eligible to be president.

Mr. Matthews explained that he is of the opinion that because Cruz has an American-born mother, he is in fact eligible to run for president. When he asked the Blake respond, his answer swung back to Obama.

The following Q & A took place:

Blake: “Listen, we’ve had this discussion on President Obama.”

Matthews:  Is this too complicated? We’re talking about Cruz. Stick to the point, congressman.”

Blake:  He’s as eligible as Obama is.”

Matthews:  Can you repeat after me: he [Obama] was legitimately elected president.”

Blake:  “President Obama was elected president.”

Matthews:  “Legitimately.”

Blake:  “The people elected him! Yes.”

Matthews:  “So he was a nature born-citizen?”

Blake:  I didn’t make that judgment when he was brought in.”

Matthews:  “Well, everybody watching knows what you’re doing. You’re dodge balling.”

In addition to being a Certified Screwball, Blake the Flake is also a die-in-the-wool bigot who can’t accept the fact that an African-American is the President of the U.S. of A.

Congrats Blake; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
